We offer:
Heat Loss Calculations
We are able to carry our detailed heat loss calculations for all types of property, to ensure the correct sizing of new heating plant. Using air infiltration testing equipment we are able to carry out air permeability test on domestic and small commercial properties to determine the rate of heat loss through air infiltration, an essential component of heat loss calculations.
Air Infiltration Testing
We have equipment to carry out low pressure air infiltration testing for properties from domestic through to small commercial properties. Testing can be carried out with minimum inconvenience, and quickly.
Energy Modelling
We use advanced 3D Energy Modelling Software to model clients properties. This enables, not only the production of Energy performance certificates, but also allows us to model and predict the effect of energy efficiency improvements to the property, for example the improvement in insulation will reduce heating load.
Non-Domestic EPCs
We are registered with CIBSE to carry out non-domestic EPCs to all types of commercial property, and have completed EPCs on a great variety of properties from multi-storey hotels to small retail units.
Section 63 Calculations
Our CIBSE accreditation we are able to complete Section 63 calculations, a requirement for larger commercial properties in Scotland.
Display Energy Certificates
Through our accreditation bodies we are able to provide Display Energy Certificates, which can form part of the Section 63 requirements.
Fabric Improvement Advice
We provide advice to clients to enable them to carry out insulation improvements to the fabric of their properties. This advice can include dynamic Condensation Analysis, using WUFI software.
Low Carbon Consultancy Services
We are accredited with CIBSE to provide clients with all types of energy efficiency advice to enable clients to fulfil their Low Carbon requirements, as effectively as possible.
Domestic Services Advice
We provide advice to domestic clients regarding all types of energy efficiency advice, including upgrading fabric, air infiltration improvements, service improvements including advice regarding heat pump installation and heat loss calculations.
I was very happy with the initial assessment of our home and the problems it presented with heat loss, condensation, and the antiquated hot water and heating system. The issues were addressed in a systematic way and the potential solutions presented to me coherently.
Now that work has been completed to enhance insulation, reduce air infiltration, and modernise the heating system with an air source heat pump, our home environment feels totally transformed, both in Winter and Summer.
